Lecturers and translators

Our honored guests

"Linelis" kindergarten children, dressed in linen clothing performed for us.  Their fashion show was very impressive!

The A.P.P.L.E. orchard now contains 14 apple trees.

Thanks to Shirley Sabo, we can now negotiate the lower stairs from the hotel in safety.  The hand rails are a result of Shirley's generosity.  She donated the money necessary for their installation. We are reminded of Shirley every time we use the rails and wish her a great summer.

Lecturers introduced themselves by carrying signs: on one side - their strand, on the other - the year they started with A.P.P.L.E.
The first faculty meeting took place Sunday, July 4, so we started with Katie Hoyle leading us in patriotic songs.  Standing at the far end of the table you see Sr. Cathy Campbell, our program director, giving us our first instructions.
Representatives of PPRC and the Ministry of Education and Science, Rimvydas Muralis and Petras Gudynas informed us about the changes in Lithuanian education, their strengths and weaknesses. (Translator was Darius)
