Giruliai - The Special Education Camp

The opening ceremonies at Giruliau were honored by a visit from Dr. Gražina Paliokienė, vice-minister of education and science, and the guest of honor, Mrs. Gražina Landsbergienė, representing the prof. Vytautas Landsbergis Foundation.  Standing with them is seminar lecturer Ritonė Rudaitienė.

Maribeth Ruder Neely from Michigan, Peter Cheney from New Jersey, Christine Richardson and Myra Goodwin from North Carolina, Ritone Rudaitienė from Illinoise and Thomas Poland from Conecticut made up the A.P.P.L.E. '99 staff at "Viltis" summer recreation-social rehabilitation camp PASAKA near Giruliai.
